STYLED SELVES

Self-directed Styling / Trend Interpretation / Editorial Image-Making

A self-directed styling project exploring how fashion image-making constructs identity through surface, texture, pose and photographic treatment.

01 — Prints & Graphics

Playful Surface / Trend-led Styling / Editorial Cover

A bright, print-based styling story translating graphic surfaces and playful self-expression into a magazine-style fashion outcome. The series utilised selected knitwear, animal print, customised denim, sunglasses and bold colour to discover how print turns into identity.

PRINT BECOMES PERSONALITY

02 — Night Graphic

Flash Styling / Printed Mesh / Street-edged Image-making

A flash-lit styling story featuring printed mesh, a russian heritage ushanka, sunglasses and brick-wall contrast to create a sharper nocturnal interpretation of graphic clothing.

PRINT AFTER DARK

03 — Soft Threat

Sheer Texture / Monochrome / Vulnerability as Control

A monochrome styling editorial in which sheer texture, darkness and controlled posing shift exposure into visual authority. The series explores the tension between softness and severity, using black styling, flash photography and negative space to make vulnerability feel intentional rather than passive.

TENDER ARMOUR

OUTCOME

Across three visual stories, Styled Selves showcases how styling can create distinct fashion identities through surface, texture, pose and photographic approach, switching between playful print, nocturnal graphic attitude and controlled vulnerability.
